Before Christmas, while attending our regular Monday in the Marketplace (the 8:00 a.m. Patriotic Ceremony in the San Jose Courtyard outside the Municipal Palace—the Municipality of Los Cabos’ headquarters), Pastor Carlos came up with an amazing idea. He was thinking we needed to pray for the foundation of the plaza before the remodeling was finished—prophetically symbolizing that the foundation of the city government would be built upon God. We had already spent many Monday mornings praying over the area in preparation for a new beginning, but specifically praying for and anointing the foundation was a great idea.
There was definitely an unction from the Holy Spirit on Pastor Carlos’ idea. The problem then was where and when the three of us were going to have the time to get together to pray, as well as travel the half hour to San Jose, before the plaza was finished.
The best time for us was that same evening, but Monday is technically Pastor Carlos’ day off and he is, and needs to be, careful to make sure he spends time with his family. Pastor Carlos then came up with a great idea. He said he could bring his family that evening. Together, we prayed for and anointed specific areas in the plaza—dedicating the very foundation of the city to the Lord Jesus Christ. Afterwards, we took Pastor Carlos and his family out for pizza. It was a great time of fellowship!
Please continue to pray for the government of Los Cabos, that it may be built on biblical principles!
