Larry and Marla Haak—the couple from the Chicago area who challenged us to pray about organizing a major crusade as a catalyst for transformation—have been in Los Cabos for their annual ministry trip in the area. Larry and Marla sent out thousands of emails, as well as making many contacts, to stir up interest for financial support of the Carlos Annacondia Crusade. The picture below is of Marla and Larry, along with part of the Crusade Steering Committee, at the meeting where they were able to present the funds they were able to raise to New Life Outreach and the Committee. We can't thank Larry and Marla enough for their encouragement, prayers and hours of work in fundraising for the Campaign—for transformation in Los Cabos!

We are very happy to announce that we have secured the use of a prime parcel of land at the edge of the Cabo San Lucas famed tourist strip. This is one of three original parcels we prayer-walked during Elias’ and Leo’s first coordination trip in May of 2015.

After months of prayer for direction, we now have use of one of the most visible large tracts of land in the city. The soccer field property is on Highway 1, from San Jose de Cabo, which is also the route from the airport. The intersection at that corner is the main highway coming in from the north, towards Todos Santos, La Paz and beyond. It is adjacent to the famous Medano Beach near where the shuttle boats come in from our many cruise ships. It is the “Entrance to the City” in several directions.

Thank-you to all who have been praying over this decision−but “no” you cannot bring your camping equipment or motor homes and campout at the crusade next to one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the world.
